We suggest a yearly eye examination to uncover eye diseases in their earliest stages. Glaucoma, “the sneak thief of sight”, is the second leading cause of blindness. Untreated glaucoma leads to permanent damage of the optic nerve and resultant visual field loss which can progress to blindness. A comprehensive eye exam can be performed to test for glaucoma and other eye diseases at our state-of-the-art office.
Contact lens wearers must be evaluated on a yearly basis to examine the health of the cornea and the eyelids, parts of the eye in constant contact with the contact lens. Children and students of all ages should be examined yearly to ensure visual dysfunction does not impede learning. As a child grows and develops so will their vision.
